Want to build software that powers some of the biggest events in Europe? At See Tickets, your code helps fans get into Tomorrowland, Defqon.1, Paradiso, and Dutch Design Week. From buying tickets in white-label shops, to setting up events in merchant dashboards, to handling payments and automated payouts, our applications make it all happen.
Youâll join our international team in Groningen, working on the core services of our ticketing platform: high-traffic shops, event management tools, and payment systems used by millions of fans and organisers. High-volume, high-impact, and never boring.
What youâll do
- Build backend services in Python (Flask / FastAPI) for our ticketing platform.
- Develop applications and tools fans and organisers use every day (shops, event management, payment services).
- Create new features that support our international growth.
- Write clean, testable, and reliable code that scales.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to solve real problems.

Our stack
- Backend: Python, FastAPI, Flask, Celery, Redis, Memcached, MySQL, SQLAlchemy
- Testing: Pytest, Selenium
- Frontend (bonus): Angular, TypeScript
- Approach: Agile-ish - sprints, daily stand-ups, demos, retrospectives, and a constant drive to improve.
Job requirements
- Around 5 years of professional backend development experience (2+ with Python).
- Strong experience building APIs, integrating external APIs, and working with relational databases.
- A passion for writing clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.
- Strong communication skills ,you enjoy solving problems together and value constructive feedback.
- Based in (or open to relocating to) Groningen, visa sponsorship and relocation support are available.
- A degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.
